Students have been working hard in second grade! Over the last two weeks, they have been diligently working to create a geometric stained glass window (well kinda...we're using construction paper frames and tissue paper glass). They learned lot of new geometry terms and are applying them while creating their windows! You can see pictures of their works in progress below.
Students have also been working on their Ozobot Fairy Tale Challenge! This week, students started planning out what they would put on their Ozobot playground. They created a 3-column organizer. In this organizer, they recorded what part of the story would be portrayed on the playground, what visual representation would be drawn on the playground, and what moves the Ozobot would do to represent that part of the story. It was fun to hear them communicate and problem solve collectively. They had good ideas about what Ozobot should do or what visuals should be drawn on the playgrounds. We will continue with this task next week.
