In second grade we've started studying multiplication! This week students were given a product and use arrays to find all of the possible multiplication sentences that would equal the product. They then had to display their findings in a city-scape (making the windows of the buildings the arrays). They did a great job!
Student Treasure Book Project & Fact and Opinion
This week my friends from Mrs. Duke's homeroom continued their research for the animal book they are working on to be published through Student Treasures. Students used both books and the internet to research information about their animal's habitat, food, adaptations, and interesting facts.
My friends from Ms. Copeland's homeroom focused on Fact & Opinion. After completing a set of task cards where they had to identify if a given statement was a fact or opinion, they then wrote their own facts and opinions about the Richmond Snow of 2015!!!
