The last three weeks have been busy in first grade! Project Success continues to bring exciting lessons and activities to our first graders!!!
After completing a post-assessment on auditory focus & memory and visual focus & memory, students took a pre-assessment on the next set of units (deductive thinking, analytical thinking, divergent/creative thinking, and inventive thinking).
This week students thought like a detective in order to flex their deductive thinking skills! We talked about what it means to think logically and how to use clues to help us solve problems. Throughout the week, students have been engaged in deductive thinking activities like Sudoku, logic puzzles, and logic line ups. Next week, we will work on analytical thinking!
